Lily Allen has revealed her pet peeve is when fans try to sneakily record videos of her on the London Underground.
While speaking on her Miss Me? podcast with Miquita Oliver, the Smile singer, 39, said it is ‘annoying’ when people record her while she’s using public transport.
She went on to say how some pretend they’re not doing anything with their phone while pointing it directly at her.
The Not Fair hitmaker added that she will say ‘hi’ if she spots someone trying to take a quick video of her on the Underground.
‘I do get the Tube, sometimes people do recognise me, I can see that they’re filming me and I’m like ‘hi’,’ she said, answering a question sent in by a listener asking if she uses the Tube.
Miquita remarked that that is ‘quite scary’, while Lily said it was just plain ‘annoying.’

‘It’s annoying when people try and do it without [alerting me], it’s like why would you be holding your phone at that angle and holding it so intentionally but not looking at it,’ she continued.
‘It’s like, “Not me, no, I’m not doing anything with my phone.”‘
Allen added that in another irritating incident a ‘famous footballer’ was talking ‘quite loudly’ into his phone in a first-class train carriage but he was later found out as the mobile began ringing as he was talking.
‘I do remember being on a train once and a famous footballer being in first class and he was talking quite loudly into his phone, he was being quite annoying, and then his phone rang,’ she continued.
‘At least call your voicemail bruv, come on,’ Miquita laughed.
Lily also detailed a moment on the Tube in 2007 that made her ‘hate her life’ as fans repeatedly sang her hit song Smile at her or questioned her public transport usage.
